Our Team.
Guided by the core values of EQUITY, ACCESS, EMPOWERMENT & SUSTAINABILITY, our membership conformation more than meets the gender threshold requirement of Kenyan entities as stipulated in the 2010 Constitution of Kenya. Currently, our total human capital investment vehicle stands at 61% for women and 38 % for men. As champions of Children Rights, ALL personnel adhere to the organisational Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy
Our emphasis remains in primarily engaging the immediate Kabete Sub-County community of Nairobi where we are based; thus 99.9% of our members currently reside in this geographical location.
Successful implementation of all our activities is executed by a diverse unit of mostly Kenyan youth permanent, part-time and volunteer staff. This line-up is made up of highly qualified persons in their various relevant fields. Taa Arts team players draw on extensive professional experience across the African, Asian, European, North and South American within the last 20 years. Their skills include artistic (design, performance, teaching and management), project design/management, information technology, social justice, communications, fundraising, cross-cultural and mentorship among others.
Effective realization of best business practices such as progressive development of staff skills, organisational transparency and financial accountability is complemented by intermittent relevant engagement of external auditors, management consultants and guest teachers.
